About the event
Warwick Basketball Team focuses on more than just one event:
- Varsity is one of the biggest sport events within english universities, having University of Warwick battle thier bitter rivals, Coventry University, in all sports. The overall attendance reaches up to 30,000 people.
- Set up and run inter-university Christmas tournaments for both Men and Women’s teams achieving two 1st place trophies.
- We organize one of the largest intramural leagues in University, Warwick Basketball League, which unites more than 90 students from all over the world each term.
Why should you sponsor?
- Both Men’s and Women’s first teams have achieved 2nd place in their respective BUCS leagues
- Won two out of three varsity fixtures with record crowds in attendance
- Men’s 2nd won the plate trophy in their local league
- New Men’s BUCS team for next season
As a result, the basketball teams can advertise our supporting company’s branding to a multitude of universities and local league venues around the country.
- We also have skills sessions, beginner sessions and open sessions weekly and mini-tournaments, Wheelchair Basketball sessions and charity events throughout the year attracting even more participants
