#Walk50 is our key annual mass participation event. Taking place overnight from 10th to 11th June 2016 participants raise a minimum of £250 per person in sponsorship to walk 50km around London taking in its many famous landmarks from Big Ben and Parliament to the foot tunnel in Greenwich.
In 2015 the first walk attracted 98 participants and raised £96,000, almost double what we had anticipated. We are now keen to make #Walk50 an annual event. Participants come from all over the country to take part and include cancer patients, those affected by cancer in other ways and are from all walks of life, from 25-75 years in age. Corporate teams include law firms, banks and financial institutions, engineering and service industries, broadcasters and medics.
We promote the event through all our key channels, including:
