About the event
Our idea was to turn 30 ordinary students into professional boxers for 3 months.
Students had to cut the booze, the weed, and the late nights. Instead, they got up everyday for 3 months and trained at an elite boxing gym with professional coaches and world-class equipment.
They partook in social media interviews and press conferences. They engaged with local newspapers and local TV. They became university celebrities.
At the end of the 3 months, they waited for an MC to announce their name, and they walked into a boxing ring to the beat of their favourite song. There they faced a fellow student in front of 1,300 peers, media, and officials from Boxing Ontario.
Our 3-months marketing campaign was engaged with over 4 million times on our Instagram platform. The originality and scale of our events create opportunities for exciting, dynamic partnerships, with companies big and small.

VPS Student Fight Night provides fantastic marketing opportunities for the student demographic. The event is aimed towards students between 18-25. Our first event drew over 1,300 spectators making it the largest boxing event, via attendance, in the history of downtown Toronto. Additionally, our Instagram was viewed over 4 million times during the three month marketing campaign.
