About the event
October 28th, 2017 Pretties for Pitties is having a fundraiser with the generous Vito's Italian Restaurant/Bar. All day long from open to close they will donate 20% of their sales to anyone who comes in with a flyer. In the evening we will be having a Halloween party there with a live band, costume contest, and all kinds of raffles and prizes. During the day, we would also like to have a trick or treat / trunk or treat for the kids. Feel free to come in costume or you can bring a bag of dog food for some raffle tickets.
The goal of this fundraiser it to raise money for pets in need within our community. We provide supplies and services such as dog food, cat food, dog houses, vaccines, spay/neuter, microchipping, veterinary treatment and more to low income pets in need. We also provide education to pet owners as well and extend our services to local animal shelters as well. By providing supplies and services such as those listed above, our main goal is to reduce the number of pets entering already overcrowded shelters and rescues. We believe by focusing on the root cause of the problem, we can fix it where it originates and make a bigger impact in our community.
Why should you sponsor?
By sponsoring our event, you will not only receive promotion all over our social media pages, online and at the event, but also you will play a major roll in helping us to make a difference in the lives of pets in the Metro Detroit area. With your help, we can continue our mission and help even more pets, especially with winter coming up. Winter is the time that these pets need us the most as the cold weather can be harsh on them. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible!
janaye bookHi, I'm Janaye. I am a volunteer and board member with Pretties for Pitties as well as a member of local Detroit coalition, Paws in the D. For the last 6 years I have been heavily involved with animal welfare and enjoy spending most of my time volunteering in my community to help make a difference. I have been with Pretties for Pitties for about a year now and have seen the great work that they do in the community. To help support them further, I have decided to help out with their fundraising and events. I have been involved with fundraiser planning for other local non-profits in the past and am hoping to take all that I have learned and apply it to their upcoming fundraisers to help make it an even bigger success!
