Village Family is writing to request your support for our upcoming  community outreach events, Village Family Halloween Costume Ball. Our goal is to bring the community, families, businesses, organizations together to support those experiencing food insecurities and financial hardship. Adjoining our community distribution is a Outreach Resource Fair that distributes preventative health information and outreach referral resources that gives families an opportunity to speak with several healthcare providers, and a Business/Vendor Expo that will enable youth entrepreneurs and business owners to promote their products and services. We strongly believe these activities will continue to have a positive impact by stopping the violence, improving the morale, quality of life, health, literacy and employment of the underserved communities.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the support of generous donors like you to expand our reach and enhance our services. We would be honored if you would consider becoming a sponsor for our programs and projects. Village Family operates for charitable purposes, specifically to serve as a valuable community resource. At Village Family we are currently working on a project and the overall goal is to raise enough funds to acquire a new distribution site to continue our Quality Food and Community Resource Center  programs that helps families build strong parenting skills, expands their vocational abilities, knowledge and provides them with a positive community, entertainment and cultural activities safe haven. The Village Family Closet provides clothing to those in need. Our Village Family Food Pantry provides healthy choices for hungry residents. In addition, Village Family host  health fairs, expo, family events and workshops to raise awareness on issues affecting our communities. They allow us to educate our community and provide services such as blood work, mammograms, cancer screenings, immunizations, educational, domestic violence, homelessness resources.

As a sponsor, your organization will be recognized in program materials, including flyers, posters, and social media posts. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to set up a table or booth at each event, which will give you the opportunity to connect with local families, seniors and promote your organization. This strategic partnership with Village Family offers a unique branding opportunity for your organization. By developing a sponsorship plan with Village Family; your company or organization will be able to extend its trust and reach to diverse group of individuals and families in our undeserved local communities. Each Village Family Sponsor receives a unique set of benefits designed to provide positive public awareness, opportunities for community involvement, and team building. Benefits available to Village Family Community sponsors include: 1) recognition on VF website, 2) Opportunity for employee volunteerism with VF 3) Opportunity to provide sample of product or information at community distribution and/or event. Our event series includes a variety of activities, such as Monthly Community Outreach Distributions, Holiday Community Events, Talent Showcases, Family Skate Night, Halloween Costume Ball ,Santa is Coming Christmas Toy Distribution. These events are designed to keep our residents S.afe A.ctive F.un E.ducated. These community events are fun, interactive and inclusive to all ages, making them a great opportunity for your organization to connect with families and seniors in the community.

Natisha Wilson is the Executive Director of Village Family,  a non profit hunger relief organization that was founded in 2014.  The nonprofit aims to to provide outreach resources to those experiencing financial hardship and food insecurity. As a valuable community resource that feeds, clothes and educates,  Village Family distributes quality resources from a donated pantry space every 4th Sunday at First Calvary Baptist Church, 813 Henry Street in Norfolk Virginia. With the help of volunteers and community partners, the Village Family committee serves as an “empire of great people making huge impact in the community through unity, service, legacy, kindness and commitment”.  Village Family is seeking to “continue the legacy our ancestors started through love and the gift of giving.
