About the event
We are a film festival for everyone. No one should be excluded, and everyone should be able to attend. We want to make film a fun and social experience that anyone can experience.
We will be posting more material after the close of submissions including a profile and brief synopsis of all our films and bios of all our event organizers.
Why should you sponsor?
You should sponsor our event because film is the language of the 21st century. It is the glass through which we see the world, it is the thing that makes us feel. What we are asking from you is small and the benefits immense. We hope to expand in the future and keep out vision alive.
Lex CorbettSince 2014 VideoDrunk Film Festival has showcased the latest in underground/alternative/ and experimental short film in the heart of Toronto. We take in submissions from all over the world in order to bring our audiences new voices, and new talents they would never otherwise have a chance to see. We believe that film is a gateway to understanding and the most true expression of realty and our inner selves. We believe that everyone should have access to art regardless of finances. To that effect, we do not charge for festival admission.
We are hosting our festival this year from December 1st-3rd at Social Capital Art Bar in Toronto's east end. It is a hot-bed of creative energy and we are very excited to host with them this year. As well we have procured "Dogbowl", a 20 minute Sci-Fi/comedy that premiered at Sundance in 2015. We are also proud to have the winner of best experimental film at Slamdance, "Infrustructure".
We also have three film prizes of our own to be awarded at the end of the festival: Best of Fest, Best Canadian Film, and Audience Choice.
What we are looking for are both non-monetary sponsors, as well as sponsors for our three prizes.
Non-Monetary: What we would need from you is promotion across your social media platforms and website. As well we are seeking a small material donation of your product (food, drink, etc) that we can sell at our event. In return we will display your company logo on all our advertising and promotional materials.
Prizes: We are seeking a company willing to donate its product or services as a prize for the winners at our fest. Dinner for two? A case of orange juice? We're not picky!
