VANESSA DA MATA - HOUSTON CONCERT

Stunning Latin Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Vanessa da Mata is a huge hit in her native Brazil. Her delicate, crystalline voice blend bossa nova rhythms with R&B, pop and reggae. A skilled composer, she got her start writing songs for Maria Bethânia, Daniela Mercury and Ana Carolina, and others. Her 2007 duet with Ben Harper catapulted her onto the international stage, and she hasn't slowed down since, releasing four chart-topping studio albums and several number-on hits in Brazil.

NEXT Brazilian Productions was built after a long and successful relationship with some of the biggest producer names in the Hispanic and Brazilian music industry.
The goal of Next Brazilian Productions is to bring together the Brazilian Community in Texas and to expose our culture to other local communities. Our annual calendar of activities includes: Houston Brazilian Carnaval with a live broadcast from Brazil, concerts featuring top artists from Brazil, local
mixers, and other cultural events.
