About the event

Oxfam is an organization with a goal of building lasting solutions to poverty and injustice, focusing especially on improving the lives and rights of women.

For our Unwrapped event, the money raised will be used to buy sustainable gifts for women in poverty to help support their family, gifts such as goats and chickens. We are planning to do a raffle, the prize of which will likely be a gift card or similar, provided by the sponsor. In exchange, any promotion or advertising you deem appropriate will be displayed at the location of our event. Our event will take place in the most central part of campus, in the main building with the highest daily student traffic, called University Community Centre.
