About the event
On April 13 & 14, 2024, we are bringing our annual National Championship to the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, VA. This championship is the largest college fencing event in the world, with over 40 men’s and women’s teams expected to participate. We will welcome over 700 athletes from colleges and universities from around the country as well as their coaches, friends, families, and a staff of over 50 referees, organizers, and trainers. We would love to help them discover many wonderful things to do and see through our Neptune City sponsors!
Why should you sponsor?
We will have hundreds of college athletes looking for places to eat and things to do while they're not competing. Many will have parents or other relatives who want to take them out. For many teams, this event is the capstone of their season, and they like to have a memorable experience for the athletes to enjoy together. We would love to help them discover many wonderful things to do and see in the Neptune City!
The US Association of Collegiate Fencing Club's National Championship is coordinated by a volunteer Board of Directors who put in hundreds of unpaid hours. As our member teams are self-funded student clubs (not varsity programs), we keep our fees as low as possible, knowing they have to raise funds for travel to the event, equipment, and more. Our revenue is based on a small team membership fee and an entry fee for the participants. Sponsorships make a huge difference in our ability to host this exciting event for hard-working, dedicated athletes from around the country.

Madison Lynn HaughieThe United States Association of Collegiate Fencing Clubs (USACFC) was officially established in 2003 to educate and promote fencing at the collegiate level throughout the United States. The organization began with 13 teams and has grown to over 45 teams since its inception. USACFC was formed as a Pennsylvania Nonprofit Corporation in 2005. Each year the organization holds a national fencing championship in the host city of one of the member colleges.
Madison Lynn Haughie currently serves on the Board of Directors for USACFCs. She is an alumnus of the University of Florida Fencing Team (Class of 2015) and has been involved in the fencing community since 2011. Throughout the year, she is on staff at various Youth, Regional, Collegiate, National, and International Events as a representative of United States Fencing.
