About the event
The Upsilon Chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. is celebrating 20 years at the University of Maryland, College Park. To commemorate this milestone, Upsilon Chapter will host a 20th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 6:00 pm, at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. This event will bring together over Latino 150 young professionals including lawyers, doctors, educators, and community activists. A scholarship will also be awarded to one deserving UMD student. Due to limited funds, we are seeking sponsorship for several items still needed to make this event successful; ranging from programs books, giveaways, goodies, step-and-repeats, AV equipment, etc.
