About the event
Our event will be a drinks evening reception in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust and it will take place on a Tuesday evening, from 6pm to 11.30pm at Trapeze, Shoreditch.
The main objective is to help Teenage Cancer Trust raise funds in order for them to reach 100% of teenagers who suffer from cancer in the UK.
After speaking with Teenage Cancer Trust, Glass Half Full events agency will embrace the charity's ethos creating a fun and interactive event that will inspire and entertain guests.
Magicians, stilt walkers and acrobats will interact with our guests to tie in with our for circus theme. A Dj will provide music for the evening and there will also be fundraising events - a silent auction and a raffle - thanks to very generous people and companies that donated items and tickets for free.
We are advertising our event using a website, social media including Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram and will also market our event through flyers distributed in the surrounding the area.
ABOUT THE CHARITY:
Since Teenage Cancer Trust started 24 years ago, they have created 28 special units across the country to accommodate not only the needs of young cancer patients, but also their families and those medical experts who provide their treatment and care. The units are designed for teenagers to feel at home so they can lead their lives as normally as possible, knowing that help and support are always there. This units have, among other things, Wi-Fi access and a chilling space accessible 24hs to them and their family and friends.
Currently the charity can reach only half of the teenagers diagnosed with cancer and it is aiming to #reach100% of the teenagers in the UK.The revenue from the evening, the donations and the sponsorship will go entirely to the charity we are supporting!
