About the event
At our University we are in the top 10 sports clubs though the funding for sport has been cut and this means we can no longer fund our third team which has a strong promising chance of promotion next season. Our first and second team are funded, though it is our third team that are in jeopardy. We have always had a third team at the University.
Not only is this a loss to the University and club but girls are missing out on the opportunity to compete competitively and progress as individuals wether this is through personal gain like fitness and competition or social benefits.
Our club has been so successful in past seasons and it would be an horrific loss to the club and University if a team needed to be cut due to cuts to funding. The momentum that we have created from these seasons will be stopped which is a massive shame as we would have such a strong chance of running for club of the year too.
Funding will allow us to continue expanding and the squad as a whole can evolve and progress. We have a development team that we would like to out into a local league too, we welcome players of all standards into our club and there is place for all.

If £1500 is donated this will fully fund the team including transport costs plus training and insurance costs. In return we will print your logo on to our training tops that we wear to warm up in for matches in front of spectators also the logo will be printed on any promotional merchandise that we distribute for example we plan on creating and selling a desk calander.
