I’am CEO and visionary  of Unicornlivin. Taija Thomas is the vice president of Unicornlivin. Our mission is to empower  young black women and girls to maximize their potential through enrichment programs and events. 

We want to help boost their self-esteem and to encourage them to love and  value who they are. No matter what God made them beautiful. 
Our vision statement is to inspire young black women and girls across the globe to live their life without limits.

There are times when women of color look in the mirror and don’t like what they see. We may think our lips are to big, our skin is too dark or we dont like the texture of our hair. 

these thoughts may hinder us from being all that we may be. we will host events that will encourage our young black women and girls through motivational speakers and dancers and poets.

A personal challenge that we had to face was that people did not understand our purpose or have faith in us.  People have talked about us and did not take us seriously however, we are still pressing on. we believe that we can do all thing through christ who strengthens us. 

it was important for me to start unicornlivin because there may be other black girls struggling with the skin their in. We hope that we can be positive role models for them and produce positive changes in their lives.
