About the event
Uncorked! on the Green is a free beer, wine, and food sampling event that benefits the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. It is held the second Saturday of October, October 10th 2015.
Uncorked is a free festival-style event that allows adults over the age of 21 to sample over fifty craft beers currently in production, twenty-five boutique home brew recipes, and almost two dozen wines. Food vendor, artists, and craftsmen will be in attendance.
Uncorked strive to provide its attendees with surprising, eclectic talent throughout the day, be it a 20' long two-person dragon puppet or the talent stilt walker in the US. Music is at the heart of our event and our sky-high DJ will perform from an 18' high elevated platform.
Uncorked is open to the public, encouraging family and pet participation. Our Kid Zone includes inflatables bounce houses, face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, and an array of crafts.
