About the event

Uddeshya VIT Vellore is conducting “Umang”, an Annual Uddeshya Conference, a one of its kind social conference that highlights our duties towards societal rectitude and righteousness.

The motto we follow is “Empowering Youth. Fueling Change.” By providing the youth a platform for them to voice the changes they want to see, they could be the hands that sow the seeds to fueling that change. Uddeshya strives to motivate our generation to speak up about issues shadowed, like mental health, women’s education, HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, peer pressure etc., issues that are shunned but occur during a youth’s formative years. Eradicating social stigmas is also a big part of our movement, to help victims of abuse work towards a healthy normal life and rid us of any unwanted bias in such situations. 

We at Uddeshya hope to acquire your support in this venture. With Umang, we hope to provide a platform for our generation to come forward and provide solutions to social problems and in the process make them aware of the happenings in the world. And this is where you play a major part. A part of our venture in this conference, students shall provide technical answers to social problems involving apps, gadgets etc. We require your monetary support for this, along with the regular costs of a conference.
