About the event
MBE Promotions has been appointed by TUT to
co-ordinate the Freshers Bash at the Nelspruit Campus, to celebrate, welcome
and integrate the new and the old students with the community of the Nelspruit
Region.
The event is hosted annually and we would
like to invite The Sponsors to come on board for this year's concert as a
partner. The highlight of this concert would be the part whereby part of the
proceeds from the concert would be donated to a charity of our choice in the province.
People attending the event will be encouraged to use and support The Sponsors. We
would call in media conference at which to give the donation and cover the
handing-over, giving The Sponsors further mileage and a closer bond with the
people.
Marketing and
Promotion campaign
We are receiving tremendous support from
the media. MBE Promotions will co-ordinate a substantial marketing and
promotional campaign that achieves maximum exposure for the event. Our strategy
involves a community-based approach, while maintaining an international
standard that will distinguish our campaign in the market place.
Prior the event:
Ø 10 000 full colour handbills will be
printed and distributed in strategic spots, including your branches as our main
target. All material will bear The Sponsors logo.
Ø 40 x 4(m) street banners with The
Sponsors logo to be put up on the streets.
Ø 30 Street
light banner along the R40 towards the Riverside Mall.
Ø From experience, people preferred to read an editorial on newspapers
rather than an advert, so we have targeted the following newspapers for
editorials which will mention The Sponsors as a partner: Daily Sun, Sowetan,
Mpumalanga News and Lowvelder as media partners.
Ø Mpumalanga Combo (Ligwalagwala and Ikwekwezi FM) will be our media partners;
other radio stations that will be invited will include Rise FM, Barberton
Community Radio, Kasi Radio, Nkomazi Radio and Bushbuckridge Community Radio. Whereby Ligwalagwala and Ikwekwezi listership
averages around 2.6 million listeners.
Ø Interviews will be scheduled for The Sponsors’s representative to
outline your involvement with the event and to elaborate what what the sponsor has to offer to the public regarding your
services and contribution to human values (heritage).
At the event:
Ø The Sponsors will be offered venue branding.
Ø The Sponsors will be allowed to distribute their merchandise or
information at the venue.
Ø The Sponsors will gain recognition and respect for showing a social
commitment.
Ø The Sponsors will be allocated space to put up a marquee for your
invited clients.
Ø The Sponsors logo or advert can be displayed on Audio visuals.
Information to be supplied by yourself.
