  • About the event

    Traditional wrestle is a private, non-profit, youth sports program that would be serving sportsmen between ages 18 to 34, in the Tamale Metropolitan area and beyond. The focus of the program is to promote peace and unity, culture and youth sport participation, promote healthy development in youth, and increase youth access to health care. Outdoor sports will be played on selected arena and the final stage be in the Tamale Sports Stadium. Participants would be allowed an Indoor sports practice in the Tamale sport stadium

    Why should you sponsor?

    The wrestling has established itself as a community based organization. We endeavor to provide
    pathways and opportunities for all the youth in the country to become active in district, regional and national communities. The wrestling helps the youth become physically active and learn important life skills about teamwork, leadership and discipline, and skill development. All sponsorship funding is directly invested into the sport and is used to manage and improve traditional wrestle in Ghana. 

    Areas of expenditure include:

    Championship for Children
    Volunteer management 
    Referee development 
    Women participation
    Game development 
    Marketing of traditional wrestle 
    Latrine facilities for household
    Representative teams 
    New equipment 
    Cluster club
