To The World 48-Hour Film Festival,

About the event

We are here to present the “To The World” 48 Hour Film Festival. 

We want to provide a world where we are open to the possibilities of being in film or entertainment. We want to provide a creative outlet for children and those interested in filmmaking. 

Target Audience:

This festival is specifically for students. 

• Middle & High School ( Grades 6-12th)

• College & Universities 

You do not have to be in a film program or have any experience to participate. 

Event Overview

DAY ONE

The Festival Launch will be on the campus of the institution, if that is unavailable, we will reserve a local event space.  The launch will include some of the following events. 

• An interactive workshop 

• Photobooths

• Distribution of Packets & Forms

• Other Sponsored Activities

The Festival Launch will begin on a Friday at 4 pm. This is the time for students to explore and ask any questions that they may have about the festival, as well as explore.  At 6:00  pm exactly, the race is on. Students will be given packets with information and promotional items before the start time. 

DAY TWO

The event is now in full swing. While you create your films,  we will be available via email or social media. If you need or have any questions, we will be here for 48  hours to answer as soon as possible. 

DAY THREE 

Finish up on all of your editing and have your documents ready. All films are due by 6:00 pm on Sunday. You are allowed to turn them in before the time allotted, as well.

DAY FOUR

A local theater will be rented out for the day or a space at the institution. We will screen the films during the day and based on how many submissions we receive. On day one, we will analyze how many teams will participate, and determine if the awards ceremony will be held on that same day. If not, the ceremony will happen on DAY FIVE.

Awards Ceremony

We will present the awards with a red carpet event. There will also be a small section for food. Each winner will go home with a trophy.
