Bomaye Entertainment and Yeleen Production Presents Tiken Jah Fakoly Pacific Northwest US Tour 2016

Seattle, Washington – Bomaye Entertainment and Yeleen Production will present Tiken Jah Fakoly First Pacific Northwest US Tour 2016, the final stop on the tour is taking place at 8:30pm at the Washington Hall 153 14th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122 on October 29^th, 2016, and featuring Tiken Jah Fakoly with his full band and The Highlife band.

Bomaye Entertainment and Yeleen Production, both African entertainment promoters, are proud to bring Tiken Jah Fakoly to Seattle as a stop on the Pacific Northwest leg of his first US Tour of 2016. This will be Tiken Jah’s first time in Seattle after years of absence and he is looking to entertain his loyal fans, reggae lovers, and concertgoers alike.

Born Moussa Doumbia in Odienné (pronounced O-Dee-Nay) in the north-western part of Ivory Coast, Tiken Jah Fakoly discovered reggae at an early age, assembling his first group, Djelys, in 1987. He became well-known at a regional level, but would soon ascend to national recognition and of course made his way into the international stage following the footsteps of his musical mentor, Alpha Blondy. Tiken Jah Fakoly has established himself as one of the figureheads of the new reggae scene in Ivory Coast and Africa becoming a spokesperson for an entire generation of music fans, speaking out on political and social issues through his songs.

Tickets are available online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2592441 for $30 before the event and $35 at the door. The artist and promoters are seeking to elevate African culture and music in Seattle and build unity across cultural communities through song and dance. In addition to concerts in Seattle, Tiken Jah will be entertaining crowds in Olympia and Bellingham on October 27 and 28, respectively.
