Thulir Annual Networking Gala,

About the event

TamilMedicalPharma Association (TMPA) is currently in the early stages of planning our first formal networking event “Thulir”, attracting over 200 guests from the Pharmaceutical / Medical Device / Biotech industry.  This event will bring together scientists, engineers, CEO and top management from brand name companies such as Apotex, Sanofi, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Health Canada, and Glaxo Smith Kline.   The gala will focus on celebrating the success of the industry, provide opportunities to network, and support the professional development of  young enthusiastic from the field. The evening will include cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, raffles, speeches, scholarship awards and entertainment.   Funds raised will support the development and maintenance of TMPA events and programs for 2018/2019.  Please refer to www.tamilmedicalpharma.com for more information about the events and programs that we offer. 

Tamil Medical Pharma Association is a Canadian owned non-profit organization that was formed in 2017. 

The goal of the organization is to:

• Provide programs and events to advance the professional development of Tamils working in the Medical and Pharmaceutical industry.   
• Mentor recent graduates of Science and Engineering programs of job prospect within the industry.

Sponsor can benefit from the mass advertisement that will be performed on social media from February until the event date in April 2018.  The advertisement will be targetted at professionals working in the Pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology industry as well as other bioscience related industry as well as recent graduates from Bachelor of Science / Engineering Degrees.

 I am the president and founder of the Tamil Medical Pharma Association (TMPA).  I have been working in the pharmaceutical industry  / Biotech industry for more than 15 years.  I founded this organization because I felt that there is lack of understanding of this sector within the recent science graduates.  In addition, I also wanted a forum for professionals working in the field to network and connect with each other.  Networking is an essential tool for professional growth in the current environment.  My organizations will try to organizve events / venue where the professionals can network with each other.  The main goal of my organization is to encourage the professional advancement of my members.
