The Writter's Block Concert Series, hosted by T.H.E.M. Artist/Co-CEO Mic Handz, features New York’s finest in independent hip hop: It's an ode to those who love and still appreciate the true New York sound.
“The Writter’s Block platform was created to showcase the embodiment of culture from the graffiti driven aesthetic in the logo which was created by Meres One the founder of the legendary and now former graffiti mecca 5POINTZ to the multiple DJ rotation format to the shows to the LYRICIST LOUNGE style of finding and cultivating new talent right before your eyes. The Writter's Block is for the true enthusiast of the culture.”
The Writter's Block "2 Cities SXSW Tour" is a FULL DAY concert event and platform for independent recording artists to showcase themselves on a professional level at the biggest music festival of the year among their high caliber peers.
The audience will enjoy the high caliber performances of the best new and legendary names in the underground hip hop community from multiple concert genres and promoters.
