Dear Sir/Madam,
We are organising a Charity Ball on 2nd September 2017, raising money for the Beads of Courage Programme at Addenbrookes in Eilish’s Memory. Eilish was diagnosed with a Wilms tumour (cancer of the Kidney) on October 2013, but sadly lost her battle in October 2014, after 51 weeks of treatment. The Beads of Courage is something that Oncology Children and Teenagers can sign up to and they collect Beads throughout their treatment, each coloured bead represents a different medical event/intervention, with special Beads of courage for acts of bravery.
Eilish’s family and their friends have decided that they would like to fundraise to maintain the Beads of Courage Programme at Addenbrookes Hospital, through the charity Be Child Cancer Aware, in Eilish's Memory, we will be having a Charity Ball. There will be a band, 3 course meal, DJ, Raffle, and a auction.
I am writing to companies to ask whether they would be willing to help with this event by providing something towards running the event (eg helping towards hire of the DJ), part of the 3 course meal, favours for the table, decorations, Raffle or Auction prizes. I am looking to cover as many costs as possible so I can then donate as much money to the Charity to maintain the Beads of Courage Programme at Addenbrookes. If you would like to sponsor the event please can all cheques be made payable to Kirsten Bailey. If you would like to make a sponsor through paypal the paypal address is *****@****.*** please make sure that the family and friends option is chosen so paypal won’t charge us a fee.

I look forward to hearing if you would be interested in supporting this event
Best Regards
