Our Sponsorship Funding Objective
In an effort to counter the cost associated with a crowdfunding campaign and to create a platform for sponsor and funder branding across spectrums, “The Tohubohu Project” is looking to corporate sponsors to close the gap on campaign development, as well as help fund the mission which ultimately funds the necessary work being performed on a daily basis.
Nine-in-10 global consumers have a more favorable impression of a company after learning of its disaster recovery efforts.”

Target Market Demographics
Global demographic trends suggest that more people are living in areas vulnerable to sudden-onset natural disasters even as scientists predict that the frequency and intensity of these disasters are likely to increase as a result of the effects of climate change. These trends, coupled with recent high-profile mega-disasters create a growing need for disaster relief and recovery. (Trends in Natural Disaster Response and the Role of Regional Organizations, 2013)
According to the 2013 Cone Communications Disaster Relief Trend Tracker, nearly nine-in-10 global consumers believe companies must play a role in natural disaster response – in part because the majority (69%) thinks corporations are better able to effectively respond.

The people behind The Tohubohu Project
My name is C. Naomi Covington and I've worked as disaster management consultant for state and federal agencies for over 10 years, interacting with disaster victims and survivors. I have decided to launch The Tohubohu Project after seeing the devastation in Texas, Louisiana, and West Virginia.
As a survivor of Hurricane Katrina, a FEMA first responder, and advocate for the needy, I know personally how it feels to be the victim and what people need in this unstable time. I know firsthand how difficult the first months are following a natural disaster. Which is the reason, I’m so passionate about the cause.
I am also the founder of Texas Disaster Recovery and Relief in conjunction with TexasDisasterManagement.com.
All of our services have been delicately prepared to reach maximum efficiency and support in each individual scenario. Besides the Natural Disaster Recovery Services, the professional team offers a large scale of services crafted for the needs of businesses, non-profit organizations, local and state governments, religious groups, and churches alike.
On the day disasters strike, people need more than just money, or just advice, they need one stop assistance. We are one of the only disaster management service organizations that offer help in every way, we host workshops and community symposiums to help calm the nerves of shaken communities. We also help manage the many needs of people who are grief stricken and cannot fathom what is going on around them.
