About the event
The 6th Swedish Workshops on Data Science (SweDS) allow members of a community with common interests to meet in the context of a focused and interactive discussion. We plan 1.5 days of inspiring talks, discussion sessions, and time for networking. We invite stakeholders from academia, industry, and society to share their thoughts, experiences and needs related to data science. The workshop is organised by the Department of Computing Science， Umeå University. Topics of the workshop include all areas of data science including methods from statistics and machine learning, computational science, algorithms and data structures for big data, applications of data science across all applications domains.
