About the event
"The Sky's the Limit" Aviation Career Day exposes local San Fernando Valley high school students with the opportunity to learn about the exciting and challenging career paths that are available in the aviation and aerospace industries. This event features interactive aviation and aerospace-related exhibits, military and civilian aircraft displays, video presentations, airfield bus tours, and light refreshments. It is a great opportunity for students to get a real hands-on look into the aviation industry and network with many individuals.
This is a closed event for registered schools only. Schools are invited on a first-come-first-served basis and are granted a bus.

With LAUSD budget cuts we need to allocate funds for 1,400 students’ transportation. Approximately 40 buses are needed, at $500 each. The student transportation sponsor will supply one (1) bus, allowing approximately 50 students the opportunity to attend the event.

The student packet sponsor will help cover the contents of the bag each student receives upon arrival. This packet will include snacks and promotional materials.
