About the event
THE OTHER Festival is aimed to bring the arts closer to the public and to revitalise Ipoh within the tourism industry. It will take place from the 22nd of October – 8th of November 2015, in and around Ipoh Old Town.
The Festival will include Theatre Performances, Arts Installations, Music, History, Literature and many more. It will see more than 100 artists’ participation, with reach of more than 10,000 audiences.
1. Encourage conversations between artists and the public to create more
audience in Ipoh for the arts.
2. Boost pride and recognition for our Home-Grown Talent.
3. Increase arts in Ipoh’s culture.
4. Revitalise Ipoh within the tourism industry.
