Dancing Arts Center is proud to present The Nutcracker at The Norwood Theatre December 16th through December 18th 2016 for six shows. The Nutcracker represents an enormous public benefit in entertainment value and will naturally inspire future generations of performing artists. The Nutcracker is sure to delight audiences with beautifully trained dancers, a glorious music score, and visually exciting costumes and sets. This holiday tradition will bring in 2500+ theatre patrons to the newly renovated state of the art Norwood Theatre situated in the heart of Norwood Center surrounded by many restaurants and retail businesses that we support and encourage our audience to visit before and after the show. Dancing Arts Center and The Norwood Theatre are offering two very special shows with deeply discounted tickets to local school groups and senior centers giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy The Nutcracker. Dancing Arts Center is located in the Metrowest Boston area of Holliston, MA. Our professional teaching staff works with students of all ages with the mission of creating a deep understanding of dance through in-depth instruction, creative expression, and exploration. Its variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, extended summer programs, and exposure to professional companies provides a foundation for dance that encourages emotional, physical and intellectual growth.

Arts and culture are a vital part of any community. They help us express our values and bridge the gap between cultures. Art activities enhance the quality of life. Through art we cross boundaries and perhaps see things differently which can help us to understand social issues and build social connections. Dancing Arts Center strives to inspire the artist or performer in us all and encourage others to explore their artistic side and/or support local performing arts groups and performances. We hope to inspire and encourage people of all ages to be a part of and support the performing arts.
