Each year, Outward Bound USA hosts a day of sailing and kayaking on the Hudson. Traveling down river, the excursion takes participants past the skyscrapers of Manhattan and New Jersey and offers stunning views of New York Harbor. It’s an amazing way to see the city from a new perspective!
Join us for an adventurous day of sailing or kayaking on the Hudson River on June 4th, 2017.
This excursion is a wonderful way to come together with a community of Outward Bounders for a day on the water. Climb aboard small performance sailboats (J-24s) or paddle in sea kayaks to explore the New York Harbor in classic Outward Bound Style. Outward Bound instructors lead team-building initiatives and our partners lead guided sailing and kayaking tours. Food and drinks and good company to follow at Patagonia Sports in the Meatpacking neighborhood of Mahattan.

About Outward Bound USA:
Today in the United States, Outward Bound expeditions and programs bring our mission to life throughout the year, every day for roughly 35,000 students annually. With 11 chartered Outward Bound schools across the country and over 1,000 courses offered, regardless of your age or circumstances, there is an Outward Bound course at an Outward Bound school that is right for every student.
Outward Bound expeditions and programs are inside city and suburban classrooms and outside in breathtaking wilderness settings. All programs adhere to Outward Bound’s unique and powerful educational framework.
We offer Classic Outward Bound wilderness expeditionary courses for middle-school, high school, college age and adults.
