The Nashville Connection is a one of a kind experience where aspiring singers and songwriters work and connect with Grammy nominated and Grammy award winning songwriters, producers, vocal coaches of the stars, and top A&R and music publishing reps.
The Nashville Connection gives artists around the nation an incredible opportunity to network and learn with the best in the industry. Every artist competing has a chance to win thousands of dollars in opportunity and development prizes for producing, branding, imaging, recording, vocal coaching, web design, social media and much more, all while supporting our military, their families, and some great local and national charities.
One of the most exciting aspects of “The Nashville Connection – Heroes Salute” is our unprecedented “Songster BusTM”. Artist tour buses will depart from various locations around the U.S. with teams of aspiring songwriters and matched with Grammy nominated and Grammy award winning producers and songwriters. Their challenge: to write a hit song in under 7 hours while traveling down the freeway at 65mph with cameras rolling and media reporting! This year, we will also have an alumni bus and 6 other Songster Buses coming from 6 different locations all converging on Nashville, TN to showcase the creative process and the songs that come from it. The winners will be chosen from 4 different genres and will be competing for incredible opportunity and development prizes.
Another wonderful and dynamic opportunity offered by The Nashville Connection is “The Artist Experiential Sessions”, where every attendee doesn’t just learn about the music industry, they live it! This is a hands-on, experiential process covering every aspect of the music industry and every step of the recording artist’s journey. Singers and songwriters from across the nation will be critiqued by top music industry, A&R and production professionals, as well as having an opportunity to network and connect to take their career to next level.
There will be live auditions leading up to the competition, VIP parties, and Red Carpet “meet and greets” with some of the most well-known recording artists in the industry. There will also be spontaneous jam sessions, where fellow participants have an opportunity to “Jam-out” with their mentors. The public is always invited. And, on the big day, the day of competition, in front of handpicked celebrity judges, the artists will compete for amazing opportunity and development prizes!
Our final day, “A Heroes Salute”, is hosted by JB Productions, DB Artist Development, and FUTURE, the producers of “The Nashville Connection”. FUTURE – Families United Toward Universal Respect is a non-profit organization that supports military causes, Gold Star Moms & Wives, local charities, and creates international women and family programs. Proceeds from the Hero’s Salute will benefit selected charities to include FUTURE’s “Hugs for Healing” flights for the Gold Star Moms and Wives. Our Heroes Salute is a day to give back to those who are serving and who have sacrificed for our nation’s freedoms.
