    PROPOSAL

    The above mentioned companies are proposing to host a tour, which is a series of events, around South Africa and Zimbabwe with the purpose of self-promotion, profit generating, market expanding and also promoting young upcoming artists like Bradley Matengenzara T (Karma Young Marley) and others that’ll be part of this project which is at hand known as the ‘Marley Nation Tour’.

    The main aim of this tour is to create an awareness of the need for Africans to unite and since this project is still at grass roots level it will focus on the two countries within Southern Africa, Zimbabwe and South Africa. This will help every individual involved to have a wider working relationship not only in one African country but in other African countries as well. It’s an opportunity for artists, producers, corporations and entertainment companies to get together and join resources and manpower, so as to generate profit which will obviously assist in the expansion of all the companies and parties involved.

    The tour is scheduled to begin on the 28th of November 2015 until the date agreed upon by all the parties involved for the tour to end. We are planning on touring three destinations within South Africa and these are; North West (Mahikeng, Zeerust), Gauteng (Johannesburg), Mpumalanga and one or two destinations in Zimbabwe (Harare) depending on how profitable the shows in South Africa will be and if that’ll allow us to host two shows. If not, then we’ll have to settle on hosting just one show in Zimbabwe. Profit will be generated through tickets/gate takings, alcohol sales, that is if the venue acquired has no restrictions, and also by selling merchandise designed by the different parties involved, e.g. t-shirts, hats, beads, glow in the dark accessories, etc.

    We concur with Gary Hamel (1998) in contending that winners will ultimately be those with the ability to invent fundamentally new games as a means towards an end of changing competitive advantage. We purport to develop a social architecture that will spearhead to our vast marketing network.

    We have recognised that the opportunities in the post modern economy are entrepreneurship, joint ventures, partnership, alliances and global networks. We aim to form a sustainable business alliance with in order to promote and market their  mission  and vision at our outdoor Festivals in metropolitans  and rural areas throughout the country.

    We have already collected a pool of data from party people  who             always follow some of our affiliate companies’ gig guides, mainly  the data is collected for future events communication purpose

    Vision

    The aim of the campaign is to reach ultimate African unification where all boarders and all the social, economic and political barriers have been removed. This has been in discussion for a while amongst the involved companies. This campaign aims to pursue these goals through arts and entertainment, that we all know appeals to the youth, which are the next generation in line…our next leaders.

    The whole idea is to empower and encourage youth through promoting young African entrepreneurs, including those involved in this project as well as upcoming artist, producers, designers, DJ’s, Event planners and others sectors in the media and entertainment industry. Our method is through a concept we know as ‘Infotainment’, where we will be informing and entertaining at the same time in a way that is more appealing to the youth in general.

    BREAKDOWN

    The ideology behind ‘The Marley Nation Tour’ is making the current African youth conscious of the political realities that our motherland is facing and with this knowledge we can define our goals and visions more accurately for an Africa with no borders and no politics, at least politics in its current corrupt, violent and inefficient form. Through the artistic exhibitions, musical performances, discussions, presentations, and other displays that will take place at the various events that constitute the tour, a message of African unity, peace, and the culture and spirit  of ‘ubuntu’ will be the central theme forming the background of all that will take place. This project will also benefit the young African entrepreneurs that are involved in it in the sense of experience and a small capital gain to boost their companies, however the experience is currently what matters the most because it will allow for this movement to continue its motion, even after the tour, growing bigger and bigger until the dream of ultimate African unification is achieved through music. Bob Marley composed quite a number of songs that communicated this message of African unity and peace, and his focus on such a subject was much more than any other artist of his era. So we call upon Africa to grant Marley’s wish and let us all merge into one ‘Marley Nation’!

Our target market are the young entrepreneurs, the general youth, people who have just started their professional career, students from all levels but especially those who are currently enrolled in tertiary institutions.

    We are also targeting and appealing to the people who want to spend quality time with their families and spouses during the festive season in a relaxed, friendly and fun environment as some of the events that are part of the tour will be family oriented.

    Black Tribe Entertainment: BTE is an events management company which will be specialising on trend setting, artist and events management. BTE is located in Mahikeng and will expand to Pretoria thereafter. To make our service relevant in the information age society, relevant technological equipment (such as social networks) will be used in providing efficient and effective services and utilized for marketing. This will ensure that clients get prompt, efficient and genuine service. The targeted departments and divided into three different categories namely; trend setting, artists and events management.

    BuckCorp Enterprises: BuckCorp Enterprises is a Youth Initiative/platform that is there to be used to push and promote local brands and talents. We are currently busy with our first official project, Mass printing, arts and events. Basically, help, empower and encourage the one another. Basically we sit, plan and initiate.

    TEMPORARY FOOD AND BEVERAGE OUTLETS

    The temporary food and beverage outlets will be dealt with in accordance in order to avoid complacencies.

    THE MARLEY NATION TOUR will then work together with the preferred service providers of such exercises.

    We are also able to form a link with the preferred supplier as it will assist with regard to the smooth hassle free operation based on our relationship, and this will of course be in compliance with regulations, terms and conditions.

    HEALTH, ACCESS AND SECURITY MEASURES

    It is quite clear that the event of such magnitude requires a strong force of security which can be able to withstand the unforeseeable challenges. THE MARLEY NATION TOUR holds the security of their clients above everything else, as it is the make or break part of every event. This aspect of the event is a priority to us, hence we saw it fit to write special application letters to all local security agencies.

    SAPS/EMS/JMPD

    We are taking initiative to inform the SAPS through the Station Commissioner, Senior Division Officer (EMS)) operating in the jurisdiction of the event and Head of JMPD to make available all required measures for the success of both security and health measures.

    Private Security

    We are also acquiring the services of private security agency in order to make sure that health and security issues are catered for at all costs. Security forces will be briefed and deployed both in and outside the venue in order to monitor unwanted crimes and behaviour.

    Access will be provided to audience through a strict authority by means of relevant and specific directional signage.

    Over and above THE MARLEY NATION TOUR will make use of their event coordinators to root out all unwanted behaviour during the event, we will be the eyes and ears of the security agencies as we cannot take the law on our own hands.
