About the event
This is Downstage Productions Theatre's performances of Disney's "The Little Mermaid. Productions will be held at Downstage Theatre in Downtown Gulfport, Mississippi. This is the full version from Broadway cast on the coast with local talent!
Why should you sponsor?
This event is here to get the community involved. We want to reach out and support our community through our partners. We will be doing a "school" production on April 4th for 1/4 of the ticket price for students at surrounding schools. Downstage Productions Theatre is dedicated to producing broadway quality events for families on a budget! This is only possible through the help of our generous sponsors!
Trae SpearsMy name is Trae Spears and I am the President of Downstage Productions Theatre. Downstage Productions Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that was formed in 2013 and is currently working on our SEVENTH Broadway style musical. We have recently finished our 2016 season which included: Next to Normal, Shrek: The Musical, and Rock of Ages! We are working now on Disney's "The Little Mermaid" and will continue our 2017 season with Legally Blonde and Jekyll & Hyde. I am 27 years old and have a bachelors degree in Music Education and an associates in Performing Arts. I love the performing arts and am dedicated to teaching people of all ages all that I can about music and theatre. I feel that theatre is SO important because it can give individuals the opportunity to be whomever they want on stage! If I can help one person better their life through musical expression and performing, it was all worth while.
