The Great Bucksby,

About the event

The Great Bucksby is an event organised and run by second year Event & Festival Management students at Buckinghamshire New University. Planning began in October 2014, when an idea was put forward for a 1920s themed evening for University students and Alumni. The event will take place at the Arts4Every1 Centre in High Wycombe, on Saturday 14th March 2015. Tickets (price TBA) include entry to the event, four canapés per person and access to all of the nights entertainment! Group bookings are also available which include all of the above, and a reserved 10 person table with a bottle of wine (group booking prices TBA). In terms of entertainment, there'll be a live jazz band, magician Brad Roberts, casino style games, 1920s themed performances from BNU Dance Students, and a DJ to end the night. We'll also be offering themed cocktails and all the usual drinks.

The Great Bucksby is a spin-off event from Bucks Live Presents: which was hosted by Event & Festival Management and Music & Live Event students in 2013 and 2014.

2013 saw an Alice in Wonderland themed day split into two: Wonderland, a family friendly fun day, and Underland, a darker themed evening complete with Burlesque performances and Shisha Lounge.
