    The Glow Up is an intimate, soul-stirring evening dedicated to mental health awareness, healing, and community connection. Produced in partnership with Sofar Sounds — the global brand behind secret concerts in over 400 cities worldwide — this one-of-a-kind experience brings together live music, spoken word, improv comedy, and honest conversation in the heart of Downtown Norfolk.

    Guests will enjoy an acoustic performance by featured artist Tyler Donavan, improv by Lemon Pepper & Sazón, spoken word from David Simmons, and a powerful guest talk by Tesia Shirlynn Heard-White, owner of Black Couch Therapy LLC. The night also features a Local Vendor Night Market, raffles, reserved seating, and an exclusive art token with every ticket.

    Proceeds from The Glow Up support mental health awareness and resources within the Hampton Roads community — with a special focus on making therapy, healing, and mental wellness more accessible to underserved populations.

    My name is Brittany Wyatt, and I'm a Hampton Roads–based events professional, Sofar Sounds host, and community builder with a passion for creating experiences that bring people together.

    By day, I work at Encore Professional Events, where I help bring meaningful, well-produced experiences to life for clients across the region. My background in events has given me a deep understanding of what makes a gathering truly memorable — the details, the energy, and the intentionality behind every moment.

    Beyond my day-to-day, I'm committed to using my platform to spotlight mental health, community wellness, and underrepresented voices in the 757. The Glow Up was born from that mission — a desire to blend my love for live music, storytelling, and real conversation into an evening that heals as much as it entertains.

    As a Sofar Sounds host, I curate intimate, unforgettable concert experiences that connect artists with audiences in meaningful ways. Partnering the global Sofar Sounds brand with a local mental health focus allows me to bring something truly unique to our community — and I'm proud to lead it.
