About the event

The HYPE Global Innovation in Sports Competition is the largest Global Startup Competition, that will take place in Rio, during the Olympic Games, this coming August, 2016. 

This year the Startup Competition will include 46 Countries, 71,600 Innovators and Makers, top Universities & High Schools worldwide, focusing on “Innovation in Sports” (IoT, Wearables, Swimming, Running Technologies, APP's Etc).

The founders of the selected startups will be pitching at top sports executives and investors. The winner of the UK competition will move on to pitch in Rio, at the Olympic Games. The winner at Rio will be awarded 100,000 Euros to help grow their startup.
