  • About the event

    Baltimore’s longest running neighborhood festival the Fell’s Point fun festival began as a small neighborhood festival 54 years ago as a way to raise money to fight against a project that would have linked I-83 and I-95 by building an elevated highway along the north shore of the Baltimore harbor. This project would have entailed extensive demolition within Fell’s Point, and the highway would have cut off the remainder of the neighborhood from the waterfront. Over the years, the Preservation Society has worked to maintain the 18th and 19th century character of the historic structures within fell’s point.

    The Society operates without cost to the city of Baltimore and it currently maintains many of the buildings as well as running historic tours of fell’s point. The fell’s point fun festival has grown dramatically over the years and continues to have a large impact in maintaining the historic integrity of fell’s point for businesses, residents and visitors.

    The Society for the Preservation of Federal Hill and Fell's Point inked a multi-year agreement with Fell’s Point-based event planning company Blonde Marketing, Inc. for management of its annual Fells Point
    Fun Festival. Founded in 2008, Blonde Marketing has a track record of working with iconic Baltimore events and institutions, including Preakness Infieldfest, the Baltimore Ravens, Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance (DBFA) and The Cordish Companies.

    “We are thrilled and honored to be involved in the continuing development and growth of the Fell’s Point Fun Festival,” stated Kimber Goodwin, Blonde Marketing President. “Fell’s Point is my home. As a
    Fell’s Point based business, plus a long-time homeowner and resident of the neighborhood, I’ve been a fan of the festival for decades. As a company, we look forward to honoring the traditions that made the
    event great and will take pride in the stewardship of the festival evolution.”
    Blonde Marketing has partnered with The Beadle Group for festival staffing and bar management. These two entities managed Infieldfest operations for 10 years. “We look forward to growing the Fell’s Point Fun Festival in the same manner we were able to increase attendance and sales
    at Preakness Infieldfest,” said Billy Beadle, The Beadle Group owner.
