About the event
The event is Crown Green Bowls version of Golf's Ryder Cup. The team event comprises of 30 players from the North of England and 30 players from the South of England. It is a unique event which brings together the best Crown Green Bowling players from all over the UK. It is the only tournament that comprises singles, doubles and triples matches. Teams comprise of male and female players as well as including young and veteran champions. We expect a huge interest in this event from across the whole of England and Wales. There are 250,000 players registered with the sports' governing body and a potential sponsor will have access to this audience.
Why should you sponsor?
There are two sponsorship packages available. The lead sponsorship package is £3,000. The co-sponsorship package is £1,800. In order to make the financial commitment easier, we would like to offer potential sponsors 'deals' on a split payment model leading up to the event.
Crown Green Bowls is a popular sport played by circa 250,000 individuals across England and Wales. The event offers a potential sponsor the opportunity to reach out to a large, new audience. The event offers brand awareness and media exposure, an opportunity to increase reach and exposure to new clients and businesses, opportunity to demonstrate leads for a company, naming rights to the event and full promotional and media advertising.
Lynn PritchattMy name is Lynn Pritchatt and I am the leading UK female Crown Green Bowls player. I was widowed in 2017 and this event is a fundraising event in honour of my husband, Mel Evans MBE.
I am currently in the process of setting up the Mel Evans MBE Foundation. The Foundation has two key objectives. Firstly, to provide vitally needed funds to support research into Motor Neurone Disease. Secondly, to support the development of grassroots Crown Green Bowls.
A highly organised and trustworthy professional, along with my full time occupation I am now dedicating my life to the Foundation and working to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease as well as the sport of Crown Green Bowls.
