The Drunk Mom Retreat is about more than moms drinking (although, that does help sometimes). It's about embracing our imperfections, laughing at our human-ness and supporting each other like drunk girls in a bar bathroom. Where there is support without judgement, fun and laughter... There is a stronger mom, a happier family, and a better world.

The Drunk Mom has done three years of that legwork for you, creating hundreds of funny, relatable videos and capturing the attention and hearts of millions of moms on the internet. In September 2018, that funny, big hearted energy went live at the first ever, Drunk Moms Retreat in Destin, Florida with 23 attendees. Many retreats have followed along, with a 75% return rate. Amy WrightWelp… I’m a mom. Shocker, right? We have 5 kids ages ranging from 6-21. I know, right? Fuck me (well, that’s how I got into all of this!).
We’re a blended family, meaning that we combined our crazy and then (because that wasn’t enough) we added to it with two more kiddos because, why not?!
I’m not one of the moms who is going to tell you that it’s been “easy peasy lemon squeezy”... First of all It’s been hard. Damn hard. But over a decade in, I think we’ve kinda, sorta, maybe figured pieces of this whole parenting gig out!
I’m joking.
I’m a walking clusterfuck that forgets field trips, runs out of milk at 8pm, sends my kid to school on pajama day IN HER PAJAMAS… only to be informed that pajama day is, in fact, next week. FUCK.
The Drunk Mom started as a Rum filled idea from the comfort of my garage, when I was just having one of those days. I told my husband “wouldn’t it be funny to make videos that just tell it like it is about “MOM LIFE”
He didn’t agree… so I did what any good wife would do and I did it anyway ;)
I embraced all of the parts of #momlife that I find hilarious and/ or fucked up… despite what other people think. I created a Facebook page and this fun, fabulous place that you're cruisin' right now.
