About the event

This year, Community Action Partnership of Orange County’s (CAPOC) annual gala will highlight the companies, community groups, faith-based organizations, and individuals who have excelled in changing the lives of the low-income families served by CAPOC. Attendees will eat, drink,and mingle, while celebrating the importance of helping people and changing lives. Sponsoring our event provides you with the unique opportunity to connect with the Orange County community, build brand awareness, and show your company’s support of an important cause!

The mission of Community Action Partnership is to enhance the quality of life in Orange County by eliminating and preventing the causes and effects of poverty by mobilizing and directing resources to programs that assist, educate and promote self-sufficiency.

For the past50 years, Community Action Partnership of Orange County has worked to make a positive impact in people’s lives by helping them meet basic needs and strengthen the support systems that enable OC residents to move out of poverty. We have the ability to create positive economic change in the lives of low-income children, families, seniors, and veterans.

CAPOC brings together community leaders, faith-based organizations, government agencies and local businesses to solve community problems and improve our community by bringing hope and services to the poor. We provide a variety of emergency services and capacity building programs that enable the poor to meet basic needs and develop the knowledge and skills to move out of poverty. CAPOC believes that poverty in all its forms and manifestations is degrading to the individual and represents a clear threat to the continued health and prosperity of our nation. We unite the community to bring solutions toimpact problems by helping people and changing lives.
