About the event

I’m shaving my head to raise money for kids with cancer, kids who don’t have the choice to lose their hair.

​Cancer has hit home for so many people, either directly or indirectly. We have all felt the pain and suffering, sleepless nights, tears, ups and downs, and all the struggles and emotions that go along with this horrible disease. Whether you've been through it, or know someone who has, we can all agree it is something that nobody should ever have to go through, let alone a child and their loved ones. The trials and tribulations that go along with this disease are hard enough for an adult to go through, so imagine a child who has their whole life ahead of them, going through the turmoil that so many adults have a hard time handeling. Please show your support in helping me raise money for this cause. A cause that will help show these children love and support. A cause that will help show these children that they are not alone, and that even complete strangers will stand by them and support what they are going through. A cause that will help raise money to finding a cure. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated. My personal goal for this event is $1,000.00 The contributions do not have to stop there though, even if the goal is reached, the money will keep totaling up to help these children and countless others who could use the uncondtional love and support.

Why should you sponsor?

Helping these families is something we can all relate to one way or another.  No family should ever have to be put through this pain and burden, although with the help of all of you, we can help take some of the pressure off just a little bit and give these families more time to think about each other.

My name is Sherri, and I am a mom of two children and a grandmother to two children. I can only hope I never have to see my kids go through this horrible disease. I have watched countless friends, family, and loved ones suffer through the grievances associated with cancer and I know it is nothing to be taken lightly. On June 4th, 2017, I will be joining many others at Gilette Stadium in Foxboro, MA, where we will be shaving our heads to show our support and compassion to these children and their families. I am looking to get any donations I can no matter how big or small. We can make a difference together!
