The Breathe Like A Boss Dinner Fundraiser,

Oliva Trattoria, Los Angeles, CA, United States Oliva Trattoria, Los Angeles, CA, United States

  • About the event

Come celebrate The Breathe Like A Boss's first Dinner Gala Fundraiser.  Enjoy the authentic Italian cuisine from this incredible Trattoria located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, but most importantly the food is delicious. As you dive into a 4 course meal you will be highly entertained by our surprise special guest comedian and actor Bret Ernst, and the music of the talented Pilot Touhill as they perform live.  All proceeds will be donated to THE BREATHE LIKE A BOSS FOUNDATION which helps people with Respiratory ailments such as Cystic Fibrosis as well as Post Transplant patients, by financially assisting them with their choice of fitness programs, extra curricular activities, or exercise equipment for the approved applicants home. By doing so we will be helping the approved applicant increase their lung capacity, and overall health and mental well being through exercise without having to worry about the financial burden of these costs. For more information or to make a donation please visit our website at www.breathelikeaboss.com or visit our facebook page @thebreathelikeabossfoundation FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No age requirements, but please be advised some of the comedy is geared towards adults only.   What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Oliva Restaurant has valet in the back, and there is plenty of street parking as well.   What can I bring into the event? Just bring your charitable self.  There will also be opportunities to donate at the event, and there will be donation bins located throughout. Lets make this night a memorable one.    How can I contact the organizer with any questions? You can contact Nick Di Brizzi at 312-287-4481 or 818-264-8784 anytime for any questions you may have,.

    Why should you sponsor?

    1. Brand Awareness:

We will happily share with the attendees our gratitude for your sponsorship by promoting your company. You will be able to introduce your product or service at our event as well if applicable. Not to mention, you will also be reaching a new target audience.

    2. Opportunity to give attendees a taste or sample of what you have to offer:

Bringing samples to our event as giveaways can be a great way to capture attention from attendees. By sharing a sample or trial offer of your product, you engage attendees and increase your chances of turning them into new customers. We would also be happy to have you donate a product, gift certificate, or an item for silent auction so the attendees can see what you have to offer.

    3. Lead Generation and New Contacts

We would also be happy to allow you to donate a product as a raffle prize to get their info. We can have everyone place their business cards and email addresses in exchange for a chance to win a great prize or promotional item giveaways that you may have to offer as well.

    4. Social responsibility- KARMA

The last, but not least, sometimes it isn't always just about the buck. Instead, sponsoring and helping our cause will align your brand to a cause or mission their customers are passionate about. Let the world know that you care about people who have Cystic Fibrosis, COPD, Transplant, and other Respiratory Ailments and their community. I truly believe in Karma.  When you do something good to help others, the world will pay it back.

We raised over $500,000 after my speech within one hour and half. I have also spoke at Cystic Fibrosis events and different Martial Arts classes. I am also very experienced in sales and have incredible people skills. I have been a licensed realtor for over 13 years with Rodeo Realty. I also managed a restaurant for a couple years. Between these jobs and experiences I have become very good at dealing with people, legal contracts, and helping and servicing individuals. I also took Improv classes at Second City Chicago and have been an actor part time for over 15 years. Acting has given me experience behind the camera and also allowed me to feel confident in speaking in front of people in an articulate and often times entertaining way. On October 17th, 2015 I received a double lung transplant at Stanford hospital. I have since dedicated my life to helping others by mentoring other pre-transplant patients. I have also became a UNOS (United Network or Organ Sharing) ambassador and am raising awareness about the importance of being an Organ Donor. I also produced my own documentary called Fight Like A Boss which followed my journey to receiving new lungs.
