The Art of Metanoia,

About the event

Metanoia is the journey of changing one’s mind, heart, self, or way of life.  We describe it as a creative space for mindful individuals exploring their inner and outer worlds. The goal of this event is to celebrate today’s visionaries, innovators, and progressive believers of change by curating all aspects of art and showcasing artists from all realms of talent.

This event was created to provide local young artists with a space to display their art in any way, shape, or form. There will be all forms of art involved; including special music performances, spoken word, pieces displayed by your favorite Atlanta artists and photographers, live stylists + models, as well as choreographed dances. This is the rebirth of the typical “art gallery”. We are changing the perspective of what a normal gallery is and giving it a whole new perception. Each event is hand crafted for every individual to experience their own journey of positive transformation, with the goal of inspiring the community as a whole.

Why should you sponsor?

This exciting event will be held December 16^th, 2016! Our first event was held on June 24^th, 2016 and was very successful! We had over 30 performance & visual artists displaying their artwork at this event, with over 250 people in attendance! Depending on the level of sponsorship you choose, your company will be put in front of hundreds of people every month and you get tons of direct advertisement at everything we do which means a lot of people seeing your company every month! An added bonus is that your community knows you care and knows your company gives back and supports our youth, and helps make a difference. 

Auriel Oates

A young mindful individual and college student, Auriel Oates, founded The Art of Metanoia in February 2016. Although she was born in Oahu, Hawaii, she currently resides in Atlanta, Ga and attends Georgia State Univ. She is constantly on a journey to inspire and be inspired while engaging in different methods of creation. Auriel is a creative director, writer and adventurer. Her passion for learning about others leads her towards constant exploration and practicing the art of growth as much as possible.
