About the event

The 6th World Championship in Data Science & AI (2026) is a premier, research-driven global competition hosted by The International Society of Data Scientists (ISODS). Running tentatively from July 1st to September 30th, 2026, this year's championship transitions into a prestigious scientific conference format focusing on the critical frontier of "Privacy-First" Agentic AI.

Teams of talented high school students, university students, and industry professionals from all over the world are competing to engineer and optimize custom vector databases. These solutions will seamlessly integrate with Yankee AI, a privacy-first agentic system developed by the George Washington Institute at ISODS, to prove that high-performance AI orchestration can be achieved locally without sensitive data ever leaving secure environments.

Rather than using standard leaderboards, participants are evaluated by an elite international committee of professors and industry leaders through comprehensive research reports, code repositories, and video presentations. Top-performing teams will earn international certification, widespread media coverage, and official peer-reviewed publication in a Special Issue of the Journal of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (JDSAI).
