South London native - The Empress Of Roots Soul Teshay Makeda is hosting a multidimensional sensory experience of sound in its highest frequency.

With inspirations from Roots, Soul, Reggae, Rastafari, Divine Femininity, spirituality & healing we bring to you a sacred soundscape followed by a live performance with Teshay Makeda backed by her band, The RootSoulJah’s.

This gig is highly anticipated. The night is all about divine femininity and Teshay not just showcasing her talent but holding space for other women within her music scene.

Teshay Makeda is a leading figure within Roots and Reggae, and is currently gaining recognition throughout the UK music scene as a pioneer. She is known for lifting up others - particularly Black women - and this event will be no different.

This highly anticipated show is seeing tickets flying but putting on a fully indepdent gig right now has its challenges. Sponsorship will allow all band members to be paid respectfully and fed on the day. It will mean attendees will get goodies and all profits made from this will go back into Teshay's art and her community.
