About the event
Today there is a growing problem in the community affecting our young people. It's called teen bullying, we all have heard at one point or another about a teen that has been bullied to the point that they saw no other way out but to kill themselves. We here at FLAJAMZ RADIO has also been indirectly affected by this, and felt a need to find a way to bring it to the attention of all our listeners and reader along with the local communities here in Florida.
Our show will touch on four (4) different forms of bullying- "Physical" "Social" "Sexual" and "Cyber". We will have a panel of experts discussing the effects, resources, and plans of action to help this growing problem, We will also have discussions with teens that have been bullied, those being bullied, and even those that admit to being a bully at one point in their lives. The show will have special guess such as a member of the Volusia County School Board giving their advise on the subject along with a member of the Volusia County Sheriff Department also talking about teen bullying and how it effects the community and the law. We will also have a live audience to where parent and children will be able to join in on the discussion and ask the professionals any questions and concerns they may have.
We are more then thankful and grateful that WDSC 15 has teamed up with us to get the word out to nine (9) counties across Florida, and it is our hopes that the show will be picked up and be aired nationally.
