About the event
This is a golf benefit, "Tee it Up for Hailey", for a mother of 2 battling stage 3 cancer. Her type of cancer is involving experimental treatment which insurance does not provide for and traveling quite a distance for treatment. This young lady has no family support and it is her community/friends who are conducting this fundraiser. This fundraiser is being advertised across central Texas and will be a 4 person best ball scramble with cash prizes being given to overall winner, and several other contests during event, such as closest to the pin. We are also offering lunch for a donation for persons attending who do not play golf and an auction after the golf event involving the public as well, We would also, through our sponsors, like to offer a goodie bag and drawing prize to all participants of the event. 100% of the proceeds will be going to Hailey Sutton and her cancer battle and with all food and auction items pursued through donation, we hope to not have any expenses that will consume any donations. We are getting a late start prepping for this event due to the time frame of being made aware of this young lady's condition and the accumulation of cancer treatment debt due to the experimental nature of some of the necessary treatment. However, we have been overwhelmed with a tremendous community response. We appreciate all consideration of assistance with this event.
