About the event

We’re part of a team organizing an independent TEDx event at the Downingtown STEM Academy on November 19th, 2016. We are in the process of planning and are in need of sponsors for our event.

TED is an annual event that brings together the world's leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in any discipline — technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development. The talks at the conference, called TED Talks, are then made available to watch for free on TED.com.

In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading," TED has created TEDx, a program of local, self­organized events that bring people together to share a TED­like experience.

At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connections. Our TEDx event is not organized by TED Conferences, but is operated under a license from TED. The event, TEDxYouth@DSA, will focus on the theme of ‘Journey into the Unknown’, looking at discovering new ideas and unique perspectives.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsors for the event are greatly appreciated. Both monetary and in-kind donators will receive placement in our programs as well as a slide on the stage. Sponors are allowed to also have a booth in the hall with their logo and hand-out any items they wish to the attendees.
