  • About the event

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxMississauga, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxMississauga event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. Theme: (de)mystify In an ever-changing world of technology, cryptocurrencies, evolving notions of human rights and equality, the limits of human understanding continue to grow. How do we take difficult or esoteric concepts, and make them clearer and easier to understand? The theme for the 2019 conference is (de)mystify, and that's what we aim to do at the next conference.

    Why should you sponsor?

Align your company with a world-renowned and global brand. Past TED speakers include Bill Clinton, Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking, Jane Goodall, Al Gore, Bill Gates, Shah Rukh Khan, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, and many Nobel Prize winners.

Mississauga is Canada's sixth largest city and Ontario's third largest city. Mississauga is home to 61 Fortune 500 Canadian or major divisional head offices and 50 Fortune Global 500 Canadian headquarters.

Sponsoring TEDxMississauga is the perfect way for any local or international company to gain recognition, branding and awareness in both Peel Region and at a larger scale.
