About the event

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to “Ideas worth Spreading”. Starting as conference in California in 1984, TED has grown to support world –changing ideas with many initiatives. At a TED conference, the world leading thinkers and doers are asked to give the talk of their lives in 18 or less minute.

So, the theme of this event is "The Honoured Success". What we basically mean by the theme is that the speakers who are going to grace this event have achieved immense success in their respective domains/fields through fairness and integrity.

The TEDx Programme is designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences. At TEDx events, a combination of live presentations and TED Talks videos- sparks deep conversation and connection at the local level. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.

TEDxIIITBh is aimed to focus on youths at local levels who are diverted and not on right path by making them educated and aware. They are the future of the nation so they need to be motivated. We have a eminent list of speakers for their motivation and inspiration.

      OUR SPEAKERS

1. Dr. Arvinder S. Soin is the chairman of the institute of Liver Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine ,Medanta. He has been Awarded the Padma Shri for his contribution in the field of Medical Science. He has performed nearly 1000 liver transplants in India, which is the largest in Country and second highest in the World.

2. The TEAM INDUS is the only Indian team leading the charge of India to win the Google Lunar X Prize mission announced in year 2007. The challenge for the participating teams is to design and land a robot on the Moon that is required to travel more than 500 meters on the lunar surface and send feedback to earth.

3. Shridhar Venkat is the CEO of Akshaya Patra Foundation, which is the world’s largest NGO- directed school meal program, feeding 1.4 million children every day.Bill-Clinton,Ex-President of US has also visited. Akshaya Patra foundation was featured in Discovery Channel Documentary "India's Mega Kitchen".

4. Shashank Kumar is the co-founder of Farms & Farmers(FnF), a company that works in the agriculture sector. He has been enlisted in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list under NGOs & Social Entrepreneurship category.

5. Sushant Rane is a self-taught artist from Mumbai who has sought expertise in the art of 3D painitng with hyperrealistic  illustrations of everyday items.

6. Ashwin KP is the founder of Promethean Energy, which has been ranked among the “Top 10 innovative companies in the country" by Govt. of India, Stanford Business School & Lockheed Martin.

7. Vijayraj Kamat is a professional coach in Human Psychology and Principles of Thought, Mind and Consciousness. Moreover he is also a TEDx speaker, author, singer and a technology consultant.

8. Arushi Mudgal is one of the foremost young talents in the field of Odissi today, known for her technical virtuosity and creative approach to tradition. She has trained under her aunt and Guru Smt. Madhavi Mudgal at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi. She has performed at some of the finest theatres of France like Theatre de la Ville, Musee Guimet, Cite de la Musique and Maison de la Danse, among others.
