About the event

Established in 2004 by Angel and Carol Soto the TMC has consistently been hailed as one of central Florida’s most successful music networking event. As owners of a local record store, the Soto’s recognized a need for the local music community to come together in a professional networking environment.  After the success of the first one, it was obvious the educational part of the conference was just as important as the networking.  Since then, the TMC has focused on booking  quality speakers, providing a platform for growth and bringing a much needed spotlight to Tampa’s music scene. Most attendees come back every year and many have credited part of their success to attending the TMC.  

We have come a long way, but we still need your support. Your generous contribution will help us extend our mission statement and provided this much needed service

Why should you sponsor?

The annual Tampa Music Conference is our marquee event, which attracted over 400 people last year. This year is going to be bigger and better because of:

As a member of the Tampa music community since 2001 we are in tuned with the needs of our community. Our company started as a record store where many indepent artist and labels were given the opportunity to sale their music. For many years we have mentored up and coming artist. We focus our efforts on educating them in the ins and outs of the music industry. We are advocates for the indies.
