Superheroes Comic Run 10k & 5k,

About the event

This is a 10k road race and a 5k fun run/walk. It is a family event appealing to pets and strollers. Kids and pets are free to attend this event, adults 18+ are $15. Our goal is to use any money donated to raise suicide, and domestic violence awareness.  In addition, our goal is to serve our community and come together to have an enjoyable time.

We are passionate about what we are doing. I have selflessly served in the U.S Military for 14 years, with a tour in Afghanistan, and continue to serve. Our team loves helping people, with your help, we can expand our operations by buying t-shirts, refreshments, and awards to spread our message and continue to do event to raise awareness. Together we can mitigate domestic violence and suicide. We don't want our mothers, sisters, brothers, fathers, etc, facing these issues when we can be their superheroes and help extinguish their sufferings, at least a little bit. Please help us help others, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Felix Parra

My name is Felix Parra. I am passionate about going above and beyond when it comes to lending a helping hand, encouraging others, and boosting a person motivation. I have been in the military for 14 years and I have had friends who have taken their lives, been victims of domestic violence, and/or going through hard times with life. I feel commited in serving my community and the people that I come accross. I believe together we can make a difference.

To try to achieve this I have created an organization called H.U.G.S. It stands for Helping Us Grow to be Superheroes. 

We are committed to molding, uplifting, and building each other by physically and spiritually motivating positive change in our lives and community. We can be someone superhero someday.
